KWIL is introducing its own book club event! We will be discussing the bold and vital memoir by Alexandra Wilson 'In Black and White'.
In this book, Alexandra, a young mixed-race barrister, gives us a fresh perspective on a broken criminal justice system still dominated by privilege. Her book has been praised for its poignant and courageous exploration of the legal profession and the changes still needed.
This event will give you the opportunity to discuss her memoir with other likeminded peers in a friendly and relaxed environment, so be sure not to miss out! If you haven’t finished the book, we still encourage you to attend and participate in the discussion that the memoir facilitates.
The event will be held on Zoom, and you will receive an email with the meeting link closer to the date of the event.
